ONFC 2012 TableTop Show
Despite record winds and rains, a positive attitude prevailed at the 2012 ONFC TableTop Show, June 1 and 2, 2012 at ONFC corporate office, Mississauga, Ontario. With over 90 participating vendors, members, guests and buyers sampled a big variety of new and innovative organic and natural food and other products.

GTAA Eco Business Zone/Partners in Project Green
April 2012--The Ontario Natural Food Co-op (ONFC) is pleased to announce its designation as a Business Ambassador of Partners in Project Green, within the GTAA Eco-Business Zone. Partners in Project Green’s Business Ambassadors include a growing community of companies who are taking action to transform the Toronto Pearson region into an internationally recognized eco-business zone including GTAA, Woodbine Entertainment Group, and Unilever.
2012 International Year of the Co-op
January 2012--Since 1976, ONFC has worked diligently towards eco-sustainability within a co-operative business model and pleased to support and promote 2012, The International Year of the Co-op. This designation provides both the co-operative sector and governments an opportunity to:
- Raise public awareness of co-operatives and the economic and social contribution of the co-operative business model.
- Support the growth and sustainability of co-operatives
- Create legacy initiatives that will live beyond December 31, 2012.
Almond Sugar Notification Monday, February 6, 2012
To our valued customer, this letter is confirmation that we use ‘Evaporated Cane Juice’ in all of our Earths Own Almond Fresh and Almond UHT products. Unfortunately, an error was made in the Ingredient list on the current version of our packaging for these products, listing ‘Sugar’ instead.
This is incorrect, as we have always used and will continue to use ‘Evaporated Cane Juice’ as our preferred sweetener in these products. Please rest assured that that no formulation changes have been made. The packaging will be corrected at the soonest possible date, to read ‘Evaporated Cane Juice’ in place of ‘Sugar’.
